IonX. Three days of drilling. Same battery with one charge, and not brought inside the whole time. Covered in ice and snow. One tough drill.

Decent day of filming on Red Lake. You know that you're in an ice fishing mecca when the gas station has this sign. #MercuryProTeam

The Red Lake walleyes are going to get their chance to be on CBS Sports tomorrow! #MercuryProTeam

Vote today. And tomorrow, and the next day! The museum is absolutely incredible!

Rough water magic...

Life can sure throw you a curveball at times. Last night Mary and I lit a fire, settled in and started watching a movie on a snowy winter evening. Mary was cuddled up with her favorite pup, Sassy. About 8 pm Sassy had a seizure. It was out of the blue and terrifying. After a time she came out of it and we called the vet. He gave us some suggestions and we also called a friend who has experienced this with her dogs. Things seemed better so after an emotionally exhausting night we retired. Sassy had another seizure at 3:00 am. And one about every 25 minutes after that. In between she was frantic, part blind, pacing in circles and clumsily bumping into things. We rushed her to an emergency vet visit. It took a tremendous amount of meds and partial anesthesia to stop the seizures. As soon as the anesthesia would be reduced, she'd start again. They ran blood tests and ruled out the treatable liver, kidney, and infection causes which left a 99% chance that it was a brain tumor. In fact the vet was pretty sure that it was in Sassy's cerebellum by the way she was acting. There is no realistic treatment for that. Sadly we had to put her down instead of continuing the hell that she well going through. She was our little princess. Rest in Peace Princess SassyPants. We'll always love you remember you sweetie.
