Great day on the water. Some awesome catches of Smallmouth Bass along with some great guys fishing with me. Quality Smallies hitting both tube baits and crawlers on slip bobbers. They kept all of my St. Croix Rods bent over steady. Most were 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 pounds, with one 22 1/2 incher, right at 6 pounds. The real interesting part is that the guys fishing with me make the rivets that are used in my Lund Pro V and are Lund boat owners! A great day for sure! #MercuryProTeam

Took some time to take the grandkids and their friend trout fishing. While using St. Croix Panfish Series Rods equipped with a Mepps Spinner, they proceeded to catch these huge dandys - fun for all! #stcroixrods

Fall bass fishing is going on along the shores of Door County. Fall just happens to be one of the best times to catch a trophy bass. Lots of different methods can hook you up to 6, 7, or even an 8 pounder. Tubes, Flukes, Drop Shots, and live baiting with big minnows all work. Using a medium action St. Croix Rod in 6 6 length is my choice. #stcroixrods #MercuryProTeam

Another Offshore Planer Board returned! As I have always said, Put your name and phone number on your boards! If you lose one you might get it back. This week an Illinois angler returned one of my Offshores, along with the bait. Proof that it works! #offshoretackle #MercuryProTeam #offshoretackle

Perch fishing really picking up in Sturgeon Bay. Live bait fishing working the best with both shinner minnows and nightcrawlers. I like using the St. Croix Panfish Series rods with 6# Trilene, using slipbobbers or a live bait rig with #6 Berkeley hooks. #stcroixrods
